These sponges can be used in wet or dry environments when working with materials such as wood, metals, plastics and on walls and ceilings. Featuring a fine abrasive on four sides of the sponge, hard to reach areas and difficult to access corners are no longer a concern.

The 3M™ Abrasive Sponges are ideal for working profiled objects, and are often used for sanding skirting, door frames or architrave. The 90° profile of the sponge helps when getting into the corners between surfaces. They are most commonly used in preparing surfaces for painting.

When using the sanding sponge in dusty environments, you are able to wash out the clogged material. This ensures a longer life of the abrasive.
