This versatile safety relay can be connected in four different input wiring configurations to suit your application requirements: one normally closed, 2 normally closed, 2 PNP connections from a light curtain, or a four-wire safety mat. The MSR131RTP relay checks for cross faults across the two inputs when connected in the 2NC fashion. The light curtain must perform the cross fault detection when the safety relay is connected to light curtains. It can accommodate either automatic/manual reset or a monitored manual reset. This unit features three normally open safety rated outputs, two normally closed auxiliary outputs, and two solid-state outputs.

The 440R-C23139 unit is dual channel and has a 24 V dc power supply and removable (screw) terminals. It has 3NO immediate safety outputs, and 2 NC, 2 PNP Solid State immediate auxiliary outputs. The rated impulse withstand voltage is 2500V. The enclosure is IP40 (NEMA 1) rated and the terminals are protected to IP20. It has an operating temperature of -5°C to +55 °C (23…131 °F). Reset is configured Automatic/Manual or Manual Monitored Reset. This type of relay is the most economical solution for smaller machines.
