XY2 AU, Enabling Switch

XPS-VC switches XY2AU used in conjunction with the XPS-VC safety relay offer a certified safety solution ensuring the safety of machine operators during setting and maintenance operations
Use while carrying out adjustment of moving parts
Allows operators to enable start and stop instructions while movements are being performed at reduced speeds and in the event of immediate danger, to give an emergency stop instruction
Immediate stop (" Dead man" function) of the dangerous movement as soon as the enabling switch handle is released (this applies to machine without inertia: with immediate braking)
An emergency stop if the operator's grip tightens on the enabling switch handle
May be mounted on metal and plastic safety switches by fixing the operator key to the top of the enabling switch handle (switch stock numbers, 296-4669, 296-4675, operating key/actuator stock number 252-3870)
3 position, 2 contact positive acting switch
Safety category 4 solution in accordance with EN954-1

Telemecanique Sensors Enabling Switch

The Telemecanique sensors enabling switch is an XY2AU series switch that ensures the safety of machine operators during setting and maintenance operations. It is also used while adjusting the moving parts. This device allows the operators to enable start and stop instructions while movements are being performed at reduced speeds. Additionally, it lets the operator give an emergency stop instruction in the event of immediate danger. It also has an emergency stop, if the operator's grip tightens on the enabling switch handle.
