RS PRO PT100 PRT flat tip probe
From the trusted brand RS PRO, comes a high quality and great value PT100 PRT (Platinum resistance thermometer) probe. With its robust construction, this 316-stainless steel probe is an excellent solution for temperature measurement.
Features and benefits:
Applications
These platinum resistance temperature probes have a variety of application use such as;
What is a PT100 sensor?
A PT100 sensor is considered the most rugged and common form of a RTD (resistance temperature detector) and have a resistance of 100 ohms (Ω)
How do platinum resistance thermometers work?
Platinum resistance thermometers work by measuring accurate changes in electrical resistance when the temperature changes. The resistance is measured by when a current is passed through it and the voltage is measured using a suitable voltmeter. The voltage reading is then converted into temperature with the aid of calibration equipment.
Why choose RS PRO?
RS PRO is our own brand of high-quality products whilst bringing you great value for money. Our wide range of products have been engineered to meet high industry standards, so you are ensured reliable and robust solutions.
