SKF Roller Bearing, Combined Needle Roller and Thrust Ball Bearing Type, Cylindrical Bore, 50mm ID, 71.5mm OD - NKX 50 Z

When you need the stability of needle rollers but the support capacity of a thrust ball bearing, take a spin with this dual-component combination from SKF. It's a reliable choice for applications that experience both radial and axial loads in one direction. Thanks to a low cross-sectional height of just 71.5mm, this is space-saving choice for settings where other locating bearings don't fit. For lasting performance, the thrust section has a durable stamped-steel cover to retain grease around the rolling parts, keeping them in tip-top condition for longer.

Features & Benefits

• Rollers and balls are secured in cages to reduce noise and minimise wear
• High static load rating of 81.5kN (axial) and dynamic load rating of 38kN (radial), so handles demanding tasks
• Reference speed of 4300r/min makes it ideal for use in medium-velocity applications

Applications

• Domestic appliances
• Aerospace engineering
• Mining industry

Do I need a separate inner ring for this bearing?

Needle roller bearings can be fitted directly onto a shaft, so this product typically doesn't need a separate inner ring. However, if you're using a mating surface that can't be hardened and ground, simply add SKF's IR 45X50X25 ring (209-2227) and you're good to go.
