Schneider Electric MCB, Padlockable, 20,000 Cycles Mechanical Durability - Multi 9 Series -M9F22340

For a safety system that's hot on handling current surges, install this MCB from Schneider Electric. When it receives an overcurrent, the bimetallic strip inside it automatically heats and bends, which breaks the circuit. After the unit has tripped, you just need to flip the toggle switch to reset it and get back to business as usual. A contact position indicator is on hand to let you keep track of its operating status. Thanks to the dual terminal connection, you can take the wiring from the top or bottom for a flexible setup.

• Installation is simple thanks to clip-and-go DIN rail mounting
• Ambient operating temperature range between -30°C and +70°C to withstand harsh conditions
• Electrical durability of 10,000 cycles for long-term performance
• Padlockable to safeguard against unauthorised use

Applications

• Lighting systems
• Power stations
• Control panels

The Schneider Electric's C60SP Series are multi-standard miniature circuit breakers and supplementary protection as defined by UL 1077. It has function such as tripping and electrical fault indication by the addition of auxiliaries.

What tripping characteristic does this MCB have?

Circuit protection against short-circuit currents
Circuit protection against overload currents

This is a type-C MCB, which means it trips at between five and ten times its full load current of 40A at 25°C. It's an ideal choice for heavy-duty machinery at risk of high current surges.
