Overview


The CS8 colour sensor is the right choice when colour is critical in detection, control and sorting. The most diverse applications are possible thanks to two detection ranges of 12.5 mm with a precise light spot and 60 mm with a larger light spot. The CS8 is able to accurately differentiate four colours. The CS8-1 allows you to save a colour. The 4-channel CS8-4 is available when multiple colours are required. In addition, the significantly improved colour resolution on the CS8 makes it possible to differentiate between colours that appear similar. The bar graph display assists the user when adjusting the sensor and displays information during operation on the quality of the colour and therefore on the reliability of the detection.
