Siemens RCBO, 16A Current Rating, 2 Poles - SENTRON Series - 5SU1356-7KK16

Use this RCBO from Siemens to protect personnel and equipment from electrical spikes and earth leakages. It reduces the risk of electrocution for improved workplace safety and manages the danger of high current surges up to 1kA. An instant reaction time means the device prevents serious damage to machinery as it trips the power supply as soon as a fault is detected. Screw terminals allow for simple wiring with a screwdriver and ensure conductors remain firmly in place, even in harsh operating conditions. This RCBO is suitable for use in industrial process control and automated manufacturing applications.

• IP20-rated enclosure is touch-proof and protected against objects larger than 12mm
• Clips onto a DIN rail for quick and tool-free installation
• Easy to manually re-set using its toggle re-start switch
• Halogen-free so won't emit toxic fumes in the event of a fire

Is a RCBO the same as a RCD?

There are minor but important differences between RCBOs and RCBs. An RCB monitors the flow of electricity to protect users from electric shocks and reduce the risk of fire. It combines overload and short circuit protection with protection against earth leakage currents, so protects, people, equipment and buildings.
