RS PRO Contact Block – SPNO
This RS PRO single pole normally open (SPNO) contact block can be used to safely connect, insulate and ground wires, protecting other components in your electrical circuits. It features a compact design to ensure it takes up little space in your application. You can also stack up to nine of them if you have more wires to connect.
It has a screw and clip terminal so you can quickly connect your wires and mount the blocks. It also has spring return actuation, which means you can easily switch the circuit on and off.
You can see contact block's like these commonly applied in control panels to connect switches, relays and circuit breakers. These contact blocks meet both American (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014) and British (BS EN 61340-5-1:2007) electrostatic discharge (ESD) standards, so you can be sure the risk of a discharge is reduced. The blocks are made to last and have a mechanical life of more than one million uses.
