The Nordic Semiconductor nRF8002 is a wireless transceiver designed for Bluetooth Smart applications that operate in the Peripheral (Slave) mode. It integrates a fully compliant Bluetooth Smart 4.0 Radio, Link Layer, and Host stack in a QFN32 package. The nRF8002 supports the Bluetooth Low Energy Proximity profile.
