Ensure smooth function and reliable performance from your plant machinery with this control relay from Eaton. It monitors signals from other safety devices to reduce the risk of electrical faults that create hazards for people and equipment. The configurable device lets a large number of safety-related tasks to be implemented for system and machine building. It's equipped with safety inputs and outputs, test signal outputs, safety function blocks and logic and time functions, making it a highly versatile component. This Eaton easySafety device can be mounted on a switch cabinet or distribution board for ease of installation.

What tasks can I perform with this safety relay?


This Eaton relay can be configured to perform numerous tasks. These include connecting normally closed and normally open contacts in series or parallel, connecting output relays and markers and defining outputs as coils. It's also suitable to use for safe and reliable monitoring of industrial furnaces.

Eaton easySafety ES4P Controller


The easySafety ES4P safety control relay monitors and evaluates safety-related information from safety devices such as position switches, light curtains, two-hand controls and emergency-stop buttons. The simple operation and variable configuration of the safety and control functions guarantee quick error diagnostics with the installation and machine components. Safety applications can be implemented that comply with international safety standards, such as category 4 in accordance with EN 954-1, PL e in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1, SILCL 3 in accordance with EN IEC 62061 and SIL 3 in accordance with EN IEC 61508.

There are two version available, a rugged version with relay outputs for safety and standard tasks (stock nos. 814-0389 & 814-0383) and a versatile version with transistor outputs and also one redundant relay output for flexible safety and standard tasks (stock nos. 814-0377 & 814-0386). Configuration is undertaken either directly on the device or on the PC using the easySoft-Safety software. It is possible to select between stand alone or integrated solutions in the easyNet network.
