RS PRO SPDT 12A Toggle Switches

Introducing a range of SPDT toggle switches from RS PRO. These high-quality toggle switches offer a single pole double throw contact configuration, meaning one input terminal and two output terminals with ON-OFF-ON or Momentary-Off-Momentary switch operations. 12A contact current ratings are available with an operating temperature of -30°C to +85°C. RS PRO SPDT toggle switches are designed with solder tab termination for PCB applications.

Why would you need an SPDT type toggle switch?

SPDT toggles are commonly used as a simple on-off switch or a changeover switch in a circuit. The on-off-on switching operation means they can be configured to connect a circuit to different paths for example; a circuit that has a light source and a motor can be connected to the outputs and activated with a flip of the toggle switch which controls the two output loads.

Handling & Storage

Prevent terminal oxidization on the switches by storing products in an environment that is dry and cool with relative humidity less than 90%.

Note: Prior to mounting products onto the circuit board as well as for unused units, it is recommended to keep them within a sealed bag.
