What is a Xenon bulb?


Xenon Beacons (sometimes called strobes) are are type of light commonly used in hazardous or potentially dangerous environments with high levels of ambient noise. They are controlled via a PCB (printed circuit board) and put out a very brief but bright flash of white light by ionising and then discharging a large current through the xenon gas. They are an excellent signalling solution and are very cost effective and efficient.

Is the fixing plate supplied?


Yes, a two piece fixing plate is supplied allowing you to install the beacon to a wall or surface. One piece attaches to the beacon and the other to the surface with a snap fit design allowing them to be connected with ease.
