What's the difference between die-cast aluminium and extruded aluminium?

Die-cast aluminium is produced when heated metal is placed in a mould to give it its shape. Extruded aluminium is created by using high pressure to put the metal through a die. Extruded aluminium typically has a higher strength-to-weight ratio than die-cast aluminium, so it's lightweight yet highly durable.
