Intel® Aero Compute Board
The Intel Aero Compute Board is a UAV/Drone developer board powered by a quad-core Intel Atom processor. It has support for several cameras including the Intel RealSense R200 Camera which can be used for object recognition and avoidance.
The Aero Compute board has the open-source Yocto Project for embedded Linux systems pre-loaded. Sample applications and APIs are available for the flight and vision interfaces, significantly reducing the development time for your drone application.
The board itself is the size of a standard playing card and combined with the supplied heatsink, it weighs just 60 g.
The Aero Compute board provides the processing power within the Intel Aero Ready To Fly Drone which is a complete UAV development platform (RS 136-8796).
The Intel Aero Enclosure Kit (RS 136-8799) is a plastic enclosure provides protection for your Aero Compute board and the Intel Aero Vision Accessory Kit (RS 136-8798). It also enables easy installation onto your drone design.
