This frosted LED GLS light bulb from RS PRO is a perfect replacement for a halogen bulb (halogen bulbs are what were used before LED
GLS stands for 'general light shade' and simply refers to the standard pear shape of most light bulbs).
LED lights provide the same lighting as a halogen bulb while using up to 90% less energy, so they're both economical and climate-friendly. This LED bulb can last up to 15,000 hours compared to a traditional halogen lamp's lifetime of 2,000 hours. As it doesn't require changing often, it's ideal for those hard-to-reach light fittings. It produces a pleasant warm white tone that's similar to a halogen.
The frosted finish of the lamp is suitable for places where low glare is ideal, in both home or office environments. As part of the reliable RS PRO range, the bulb has been stringently tested for quality and consistency.
