RS PRO Durometer
If you're making parts from soft materials and need to test their hardness, this digital Shore A durometer from RS PRO is an ideal solution. It provides quick and reliable hardness measurements for rubber, PVC, elastomers, neoprene and leather.
Insert the probe into the material's surface and, by measuring the resistance force, the durometer accurately calculates its hardness. Measurements on a scale of 100 graduations are given on a digital screen. The readings are displayed in large, easy-to-read digits of 14 mm in height. The instrument comes in a fitted case and a check block is provided to test its accuracy, further ensuring the reliability of your parts.
This Shore A durometer (also known as a hardness tester) is manufactured to comply with British and ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) standards for accuracy. It's regularly used in workshops and garages, as well as laboratories and industrial manufacturing environments.
