RS PRO Ladder Type Flexible Stainless Steel Cable Ties

These RS PRO ladder type cable ties have been manufactured from grade 316 stainless steel. The construction of these metal cable ties gives them greater flexibility in comparison to a standard stainless steel cable tie. The unique design and structure of ladder cable ties make them ideal for applications which need extreme strengths. These ties are an ideal alternative where Nylon 66 cable ties are not suitable such as harsh environments or places where there is heat.
The stainless steel used has a high resistance to damage by chemicals and salts making them suitable for harsh environments. The black polyester coating improves the handling properties of the stainless steel reducing the possibility of chaffing and blends with the colour of most cables sheaths. This range includes the following:
121-618: Silver and not coated - 225mm x 7mm
121-624: Silver and not coated - 300mm x 7mm
121-630: Silver and not coated - 610mm x 7mm
121-646: Silver and not coated - 610mm x 12mm
121-652: Black polyester/epoxy coating - 225mm x 7mm
121-668: Black polyester/epoxy coating - 300mm x 7mm
121-674: Black polyester/epoxy coating - 610mm x 7mm

Manufactured from stainless steel, these ties have excellent resistance to abrasion, corrosion, radiation, weathering and extremes of temperature. They have a greater load carrying capacity and may be used for general strapping applications. With the RS PRO wide range, there are a variety of sizes and lengths to suit all your requirements.

FAQs
Why use stainless steel cable ties?
Stainless steel cable ties are an ideal alternative where Nylon 66 cable ties are not suitable such as harsh environments or places where there is heat. Cable ties manufactured from stainless steel are great for low and high voltage cable management. They are ideal for applications in extreme conditions where strength, vibration, radiation, weathering, corrosion and temperature extremes are a factor. They are also fireproof due to the high melting point of stainless steel.

What are the different types of cable tie?
There are many different types of cable tie, including heavy-duty metal ties, plastic ties, and Velcro cable ties in the form of a Velcro strap. Below are some of the main types:
• Standard
• Releasable
• Mounted head
• Push mount
• Self-adhesive
• Double-headed
• Stainless steel
• Reusable
