Sensata Cynergy3 Reed Switch Magnet, Bar Type, 12.7mm Length - RSH Series - RSH01
Open or close an electrical circuit automatically with this reed switch magnet from Sensata Cynergy3. Its magnetic field causes the contacts inside a reed switch's casing to move together, allowing electricity to flow between them. This bar-shaped component is compatible with standard and miniature models (118-7035 and 229-3709), as well as changeover (394-428), sub-miniature and tiny switches (118-7120, 229-3658, 229-3664, 229-3670 and 229-3692), making it a versatile choice. Magnets like this one are commonly used in safety applications, including shut-off devices, tamper-proofing systems and automatic braking assists.
Features & Benefits
• Compact dimensions of 12.7 (L) x 3.2 (W) x 1.6mm (D) mean it will add minimal bulk to your setup
• Polarised along its length to allow for direct and indirect actuation
• Switches have a broad operating temperature range between -40°C and +150°C for use in demanding environments

How does a changeover switch work?
A changeover switch works by breaking one circuit and closing another, so it lets you change between two power sources in response to this unit's magnetic field.
