Honeywell Heavy-Duty Pressure Transducer, 250psi, 3mA - PX3 Series - PX3AN2BS250PAAAX

This transducer from Honeywell converts air compressor system pressure into an electrical signal, allowing you to monitor changing pressure levels. The piezo-electric design generates a surface charge that can measure rapid pressure shifts, with a fast response time of under 2ms (milliseconds). As an absolute pressure sensor, it measures the pressure relative to a perfect vacuum to provide a more accurate reading. It also compensates for offset, sensitivity and temperature effects for greater ease of use.

Features & Benefits

• Low current consumption of 3.5mA reduces energy costs and enhances product life
• Compatible with common hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerants for low-temperature applications
• Operating pressure range of 1 to 46bar makes it suitable for both low and high-pressure systems
• IP67 (ingress protection) rating indicates robust protection against dust and temporary submersion in water

Applications

• Refrigerant pressure monitoring
• Air compressors
• Hydraulic oil pressure detection

Is this sensor suitable for use in extreme temperatures?

Yes. This pressure sensor supports a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, so it's suitable for use in extreme heat or cold.

Is this sensor reliable when exposed to electromagnetic fields?

Yes. This sensor provides accurate readings even in the presence of electromagnetic fields, making it a reliable choice.
