The Sundstrom SR 575 helmet with visor is designed for use together with the battery-powered SR 500, SR 500 EX, or SR 700 fan and approved filters as part of the Sundström fan-assisted respiratory protection systems. The breathing hose of the helmet connects to the fan equipped with filters, and the positive pressure generated inside the visor prevents particles and other pollutants from entering the breathing zone. This equipment can be used as an alternative to filter respirators in all situations where filter respirators are recommended, particularly for work that is physically demanding, performed in warm environments, or of long duration.
