Siemens Selectivity Module, 4 Outputs, 10A Current Output - 6EP1961-2BA21

Use this Siemens selectivity module to ensure a fault-free supply of electricity from your power supply unit. It distributes and monitors the load current of 24V DC power supplies across multiple feeders so faults are reliably detected and signalled. This prevents overload damage to your industrial equipment that could cause a system failure. Three status LEDs let you quickly identify faults on-site. To minimise interruption to your workflow, the unit tolerates brief peaks caused by inrush current. DIN rail selectivity modules like this are a practical choice for protecting low-voltage industrial devices, like push buttons and relays. This one's compatible with power supply units from Siemens' SITOP range.

• Safe tripping regardless of line resistance, so suitable for the protection of longer cable runs
• Easy adjustment of output using potentiometer
• Manual on/off output switches for easy operation
• Sealable transparent cover to prevent unauthorised adjustment

What does a power supply unit do?

A power supply unit accepts an input voltage and converts it into an output supply. It changes the current, voltage and frequency of the electrical supply into the correct parameters for the device it's attached to.
