The STMicroelectronics evaluation kit is designed to simplify testing and prototyping with the IIS3DWBG1 3‑axis digital vibration sensor. The sensor is mounted at the centre of a square PCB and connected via flat cable to the STEVAL‑MKIGIBV5 adapter board. The kit provides the complete IIS3DWBG1 pinout, includes decoupling capacitors on the VDD line, and can be easily fixed to the system under test using the provided adhesive. Supported by MEMS Studio GUI or custom software routines, it enables configuration, communication, and seamless integration into prototype boards for vibration measurement applications.
