This 3000 W fixed installation DC to AC power inverter from RS PRO is a sturdy electrical device that joins to a car battery to charge a wide range of appliances.

Mains electricity is supplied as alternating current (AC), so any device that plugs into a wall uses AC. Household devices can also be charged using car batteries, which produce direct current (DC), provided you have a power inverter on board.

This inverter works especially well with laptops and smart devices, thanks to its pure sine wave voltage output. It has a simple chassis mount that makes it easy to install and an efficiency rating of over 90%.

The product comes in a durable anodised aluminium case, with built-in protections against overheating, over-voltage and short-circuiting. Part of our tried and tested RS PRO range, it has been stringently tested. It also conforms to the standard EN 61000-6-3 on electromagnetic compatibility.
