The ON Semiconductor highly integrated FAN6921BMR combines power factor correction (PFC) controller and quasi−resonant PWM controller. The integration provide cost effect design and allow for fewer external components. It uses a controlled on−time technique to provide a regulated DC output voltage and to perform natural power factor correction.
