RS PRO 2 m Power Cable, C13, IEC to SEV 1011, Swiss Plug, 10 A, 250 V
This moulded cordset from the RS PRO range allows you to connect a C13 Type J plug to a Swiss mains socket. The male plug, which ends in a female IEC socket, is commonly used in both domestic and commercial settings. It powers equipment ranging from desktop computers to professional video equipment instrument amplifiers.
The two-metre power cable is voltage rated at 250 V and current rated at 10 A. Sheathed in black PVC for flexibility and durability, the plug is moulded to take the strain off the connection so the cable assembly lasts longer.
As a harmonised cable, it complies with EN 50525-2-11 as a safe, effective low-voltage energy product, while the moulded plug meets SEV 1011 and IEC 60884-1 safety standards. The connector also won't damage equipment via electrostatic discharge (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007) and complies with RoHS, so it contains only minimal hazardous substances (RoHS).
