Siemens Rotary Potentiometer, Panel Mount, 2.2kΩ - 3SU1 Series - 3SU1200-2PW10-1AA0

Use the actuator of this Siemens rotary potentiometer to control resistance values in your electrical circuit. Continuous adjustment to a maximum mechanical rotation of 280° allows for exceptional variance, making it easy to increase or reduce output. A maximum resistance of 2.2kΩ (kiloohms) enables precision control, making this a convenient solution for circuits that manage lighting intensity, temperature settings and audio volumes. You can fix the unit directly onto a panel using simple screw terminals for secure mounting.

• Compact dimensions of 22 (diameter) x 300mm (length) allow for installation where space is limited
• Maximum voltage rating of 500V offers generous capacity
• Plastic actuator construction for durability
• Alignment slots make it easy to track levels

How does a rotary potentiometer work?

A rotary potentiometer includes a knob – or actuator – that's attached to a shaft. Turning the actuator causes an internal wiper to move, which affects the amount of movement across the resistive element.

Is this potentiometer protected against moisture infiltration?

This potentiometer is rated IP69K (ingress protection), meaning it's protected against dust as well as high-temperature, high-pressure jets of water. The unit's terminal isn't protected against water, should be installed where moisture won't pose a risk.
