If you're looking for a pneumatic control valve to control airflow in a pneumatic system, this 3/2 valve from the RS PRO range is both robust and versatile. It's configured with three ports and two switching positions, with normally closed operation requiring activation from a solenoid to open it.

Designed for base mounting, this solenoid valve is built with a lightweight yet strong aluminium body. It fits onto a G 1/4 in thread and can handle a flow rate of 1,200 litres a minute. This valve also offers a short changeover time and low changeover pressure.

The solenoid is remarkably energy-efficient and consumes just 2 W of power or 3 VA of apparent power. This kind of valve is commonly used in packaging applications as well as in the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors.
