Festo Pneumatic Silencer, 10 Bar, 8mm Inlet - UC-QS-8H

This pneumatic silencer from Festo is designed to minimise the noise produced by air exhausts in pneumatic systems. It reduces noise levels by up to 60dB, bringing the sound to a safe threshold and improving work conditions. As it also performs the extra function of a filter, there are fewer contaminants in your pneumatic system for higher productivity and less downtime. This silencer has a push-in sleeve, so installation can be completed tool-free. It's used with heavy equipment in a wide range of industrial applications, from construction to food production.

• Can be assembled in any position for ease of installation and time efficiency
• Maximum input pressure of 10 bar for use with heavy-duty equipment
• Polyethylene (PE) material for corrosion and impact resistance and long-lasting performance
• Light weight of 2.3g to avoid system strain

Applications

• Mixers
• Water treatment plants
• Food and beverage production facilities

What maintenance does this silencer need?

Maintenance of this pneumatic filter largely involves cleaning. You can do this by soaking it in any solvent (except chlorinated hydrocarbons) for five minutes. Then brush it with a nylon or hard-bristle brush and blow it dry using clean compressed air.
