Festo Pneumatic Regulator, G1/8, 1250L/min Typical Flow Rate - VPPE-3-1-1/8-10-010-E1

Precisely control air pressure in your pneumatic systems with this pressure regulator from Festo. It works by reducing the supply inlet pressure to a lower outlet value and maintaining this value regardless of inlet fluctuations. This helps minimise energy wastage and optimises productivity. This unit has an LED (light-emitting diode) display that gives you accurate pressure readings at a glance. A maximum outlet pressure of 10 bar means it can be used for heavy-duty industrial applications.

• Anodised wrought aluminium alloy housing material for impact and corrosion resistance
• Light weight of 390g for easy handling
• Maximum current consumption of 160mA for optimal energy efficiency
• Compact design for space efficiency in small enclosures
• Can be assembled in any direction for design flexibility

Applications

• Heating furnaces
• Medical and dental equipment
• Gas grills
• Welding equipment

How does this pressure regulator work?

This device has a pilot valve controlled diaphragm that widens and narrows depending on the supply air pressure. At high pressure, the valve constricts the diaphragm to narrow the airflow. When the pressure drops, the valve causes the diaphragm to expand to let more air in.
