IMI Norgren Pressure Switch For Gas, Liquid, G1/4 Thread, -0.5 to 8 Bar Operating Pressure - 18D Series - 0880300

This pressure switch from IMI Norgren manages the pressure level of gas in your pneumatic system. Thanks to its electromechanical design, it senses pressure changes and passes a signal to an internal diaphragm. This activates the microswitch, which shuts or opens the compressor to maintain a set pressure value. A pressure limit warning is on hand to notify you if the maximum pressure has been reached. With an operating pressure range between 0.5 and 8 bar, you'll find this unit suited to low-pressure applications.

Features & Benefits

• Aluminium body has the tensile strength to withstand demanding environments
• Automatic shut-off to prevent system downtime
• Broad operating temperature range between 0°C and +80°C to withstand harsh applications
• Vibration-resistant for added durability
• DIN plug for quick installation

Applications

• Air cylinders
• Medical technology
• Mining and quarrying industry

How durable is the microswitch in this pressure switch?

The microswitch is plated with gold, which is corrosion-resistant so delivers an extended service life. A mechanical service life of 10,000,000 switching cycles means it's a long-lasting option.
