IMI Norgren Double-Acting Cylinder, Adaptive Cushioning System, 80mm Bore - PRA Series - PRA/802080/M/125

Generating linear motion is a breeze with this double-acting cylinder from IMI Norgren. As it handles up to 12 bar of pressure, you can use it to push and pull, lift and lower or open and close heavy-duty components with ease. Thanks to its die-cast aluminium body, it resists rust to prevent corrosion damage from interfering with your machinery. The robust steel piston is resilient enough to deliver top-tier performance you can count on over the long haul.

Features & Benefits

• NBR O-rings keep out dust and debris for smooth-sailing operation
• Standard G3/8 port lets you quickly hook it up in your existing setup

Applications

• Manufacturing industry
• Packaging plants
• Automotive production

This unit has ACS – what does that mean?

ACS stands for automatic cushioning system. It's a high-performance dampening function that automatically cushions the piston in most applications without needing any adjustment.

When would I need to manually adjust the cushioning system?

The ACS system gives you a sizeable buffer zone, but if the load mass is high or your operation runs at a very fast speed, you may need to adjust the cushion needle manually to safely accommodate the piston.
