Festo Pneumatic Compact Cylinder, 6mm Bore, 20mm Stroke - EZH-2.5/9-20-B

This flat pneumatic cylinder from Festo is used for pushing operations in setups with narrow spaces. It's a single-acting cylinder, which means its piston is driven in one direction by air and pushed back by a mechanical spring. This allows it to always return to its original position and makes it easy to operate. The piston rod is made of nickel-plated copper alloy that's durable and corrosion-resistant. You'll find this cylinder used in a variety of light-duty industrial applications.

• Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) seals to prevent air leakage for optimal performance
• Lightweight at 17g for easy handling, storage and transportation
• Maximum operating pressure of 6 bar for light-duty applications
• Wide operating temperature range of 0°C to +60°C for use in harsh environments

Applications

• Material rejection equipment
• Pharmaceutical production facilities

Can the piston of this cylinder stop mid-stroke?

This cylinder has a spring return mechanism so it'll always go back to its original position and won't stop mid-stroke. This is a safe option for applications susceptible to power failures as it won't stand in the way of moving items.
