Festo Pneumatic Cylinder, 1 to 10 Bar Operating Pressure, M6 Piston Rod Thread - DSNU-16-160-PPV-A

To keep your workpieces in line, give them a push with this pneumatic cylinder from Festo. It's a double-acting type that uses compressed air to efficiently move its piston back and forth. As each 160mm stroke is precisely measured, you get the benefit of close machine control. A standard M6 piston rod thread attaches the unit to commonly used equipment without hassle, so you can step away from your toolkit. The cylinder has end cushioning that automatically adjusts during operation, cutting out disruptive vibration and keeping noise down.

Features & Benefits

• Delivers a pushing force up to 120.6N at 6 bar pressure to easily move large objects
• Airtight NBR seals maintain system pressure
• Corrosion-resistant aluminium alloy casing provides effective impact resistance in wet conditions
• Couples with a proximity sensor (such as 121-5836) to give you handy position tracking

Applications

• Food production
• Packing plants
• Construction industry

Can I use this cylinder with lubricated compressed air?

Yes, but if you use the cylinder with a lubricated supply once, you should only ever use it with lubricated air afterwards to avoid contaminating clean pneumatic connections.
