Festo Pneumatic Cylinder, Air Cushioning Type, 222.8g Weight - DSNU-20-50-PPV-A

Eject, position or clamp small components using this pneumatic cylinder from Festo. As it's a double-acting device, it gives you control over the stroke in both directions, boosting accuracy. Air cushioning is on hand to keep your system running smoothly and quietly with minimal shock or vibration. The cylinder has industry-standard G1/8 connections, making it simple to connect to your pneumatic setup. A broad operating pressure range between 1 and 10 bar means you can rely on it for use in heavy-duty applications.

Features & Benefits

• Wide operating temperature of -20°C to +80°C makes it suitable for harsh industrial environments
• Stainless steel material resists corrosion to help keep your system clean
• Wrought aluminium alloy bearing and end caps combine strength with a light weight of 222.8g to minimise strain on your system

Applications

• Factory automation
• Transport
• Packaging plants

What's a double-acting cylinder?

A double-acting pneumatic cylinder has two ports – one on each end – that allow compressed air to flow through it and power up the stroke in both directions. This gives you more accuracy than a single-acting cylinder with a single port as that has to use a spring for the return stroke.
