Festo Pneumatic Guided Double-Acting Cylinder, 10mm Bore, 30mm Stroke - DGSL-8-30-PA

This mini-slide double-acting actuator from Festo's DGSL series is built with a highly accurate ball-bearing cage guide. Use it when you need a reliable and compact pneumatic guided cylinder to move heavy objects attached laterally to factory equipment. Its design ensures the forces exerted by the side loads are evenly distributed. On both ends, you'll find flexible cushioning rings and the cylinder also has position-sensing capabilities. An operating temperature range of 0°C to +60°C makes this a suitable option for demanding industrial environments.

• Maximum operating pressure of 8 bar for versatility
• Wrought aluminium alloy cover and housing for excellent mechanical strength
• Nitrile rubber seals guard against leakage

Applications

• Pick-and-place operations
• Food and beverage industries
• Conveyor systems

What are pneumatic guided cylinders used for?

Pneumatic cylinders work as a guided aid to keep loads balanced while they're in motion. They're often used to keep items from falling off conveyor belts.

When are double-acting cylinders used?

Double-acting pneumatic cylinders like this one are used where thrust is needed for both retraction and extension. They provide greater thrust than a single-acting cylinder.
