Festo Pneumatic Guided Cylinder, 1MPa Operating Pressure Maximum, 1743g Moving Mass - DFM-40-100-P-A-G

Choose this pneumatic guided cylinder from Festo to put workpieces exactly where you want them. It's a combined drive-and-guide system that comfortably delivers up to 1227N of force at a pressure of up to 10 bar. This makes the unit ideal for stopping components, moving heavy weights and lifting elements in packaging and processing systems. There are cushioning rings on either end of the barrel to absorb impact, which minimises noise and cuts the risk of damage out of the equation.

Features & Benefits

• Performs in demanding temperatures ranging from -20°C to +80°C
• Standard G1/8 connection screws in quickly to existing systems
• NBR seals prevent contaminants from entering to minimise corrosion

Applications

What is this cylinder made from?

Its housing is made from wrought aluminium alloy, which is reliably durable and strong enough to resist torque and lateral forces. The piston rod is high alloy steel, which shrugs off the threat of corrosion when used in damp settings.

Can I install this device in an automated system?
