Festo One-Way Flow Control Valve, 0.2 to 10 Bar, 215L/min Flow Rate - GRLZ-1/8-QS-8-D

Modify the speed of compressed air moving through a cylinder with this flow control valve from Festo. A slotted head screw on the threaded outlet port makes it simple to control the valve with standard tools, allowing you to maintain your preferred flow rate and avoid pressure build-ups. Thanks to its standard nominal flow rate of 215L/min (litres per minute) in the control direction, this valve is suitable for use in applications where a high flow rate is needed.

• Wide operating temperature range of -10°C to +60°C for use in harsh environments
• Lubricated operation possible for an extended service life
• Supplied with a release ring for quick and simple removal
• Durable aluminium-alloy housing material is resistant to corrosion for long-lasting performance
• Wide operating pressure range of 0.2 to 10 bar for reliable use in low-pressure applications

Applications

• Water treatment facilities
• Manufacturing industry
• Oil and gas industry
• Material handling

How does a flow control valve work?

Flow control valves work by limiting the flow rate of compressed air. This helps to control the speed at which a piston moves in a pneumatic system.
