Accurately detect the piston position on your double-acting cylinders with this electronic proximity sensor from Festo. It detects the field of a magnet that's integrated into the cylinder piston. The sensor is mounted onto the pneumatic cylinder’s body and indicates 'on' or 'off' based on proximity to the magnet. It has a yellow light-emitting diode (LED) indicator that lights up when in operation, making it easy to know when it detects the piston. This sensor is an essential component in pneumatic processes as it helps automate the actuation of double-acting cylinders.
