This angle seat valve from Festo offers a reliable, low-maintenance solution for regulating the flow of liquid or compressed air in a rigid piping system. It has a sturdy construction from gunmetal (red brass) combined with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) seals to provide reliability and a long service life. With an operating temperature range of -10°C to +80°C, this is a versatile component for use across light and heavy industries.
The pneumatically actuated valve stops the flow of media automatically when pressure is lost, thanks to the spring-loaded, 'normally closed' (NC) default position. It's useful for applications in which you can't guarantee the absolute purity of the medium or where you need to regulate the flow of high-viscosity media (up to 600 mm²/s).
