SKF Locating Ring, 80mm Centre Height, 120mm OD - FRB 10/120
Use this locating ring from SKF to correctly install a bearing into its housing. It helps to securely attach the bearing to the axial shaft inside the housing and is an essential part when the bearing width and seat measurements aren't accurately matched. Installing it ensures your bearings remain attached and won't come loose or generate noise in vibrating equipment. To correctly install the device in a plummer or pillow housing, you need two rings, with one ring on each side of the bearing. In instances when only one ring is needed, you can fix it on the same side as the locknut.
