Schneider Electric | Zelio Logic Series | Logic Module

The Zelio Logic introduces you to a world of simplified, smart relays used for control systems ranging from 10 to 40 I/O. Compact in nature, the module works via input and output signals. Zelio Logic Modules enables you full control and monitoring over your installations, remotely or on site. Easily program the software by using the buttons situated on the front of the module.

Features and benefits:

• Easily programmable interface, using simple buttons situated on the front of the relay. Program via Windows PC, using the LADDER language or Function Block diagram language (FBD).

6 to 10 outputs & 4 to 10 inputs (depending on model) allowing you versatility in the number of stand-alone devices you need to input/output to.

LCD backlight display for easier accessibility.

Low power consumption with a generous supply voltage ranging from 12 V dc up to 24 V dc (see specifications for model specific voltage).

Real-time clock incorporated into the device, perfect for monitoring functions on the module more effectively.

DIN Rail or panel mounting with screw terminals depending on your need.

10 year back-up with the use of EEPROM memory.

Cost-effective in reducing space needed with the compact models vs. other basic modules.

Applications - where can I use it?

Logic modules are useful for when you need to perform a process without human intervention, therefore the list is not limited. Logic Modules may even be connected to other Logic Modules for example. Below you'll find some typical applications:

• Control systems for smaller machinery

• Lighting management

• Heating and air conditioning controls

Schneider Electric Logic Module, DIN Rail Mounting, 24V DC Voltage Rating - Zelio Logic Series - SR3B262BD

Take control of your automated processes with this Schneider Electric logic module. It comes with graphic-based function block and ladder logic programming languages, so it's simple to set up, even if you're not a programming whizz. The unit has no trouble closely monitoring connected components, as it takes between 6 and 90ms to cycle through its inputs. It then quickly informs you about any changes. Support for both analogue and digital inputs makes this a versatile choice. Thanks to the easy-to-read digital display, checking up on your system's status is hassle-free.

• Repeat accuracy of ±2% to provide accurate analogue measurements
• Built-in overload and short-circuit protection to minimise the risk of damage caused by electrical faults
• Straightforward DIN rail mounting makes installation a snap and you won't need your toolkit

Applications

• Signalling systems
• Manufacturing industry
• Processing plants

What's the difference between digital and analogue inputs?

Digital inputs such as a plug socket are either on or off. Analogue inputs are more like a dimmer switch, meaning their signals scale between on and off.

Schneider Electric Zelio Logic 2 Smart Relay - Additional Info:

Schneider Electric now offers a new generation of expandable intelligent relays, offering substantial advantages in flexibility and functionality. Zelio Logic 2 Smart Relay is the optimum solution to control tasks such as automating small machines within industry, lighting, HVAC and access control within buildings.

With the small footprint, simple programming, powerful control functions and the possibility of changing or modifying the program in case of changed application requirements, it offers great savings in space and price compared to other options.

Choose between two new series - Compact and Modular. The Compact series is not expandable and is available with the following I/O block sizes: 10 I/O, 12 I/O and 20 I/O.
The Modular series is available with 10 and 26 I/O basic units and is expandable up to 40 I/O with the latter. Apart from this flexibility both new series are programmable using FBD, ladder and Grafcet SFC programming languages.
User friendly design for easy programming and operation, either directly from the module using the navigation buttons or via Windows based software.
