This PLC (programmable logic controller) I/O (input/output) module from Rockwell Automation's Allen Bradley range acts as an intermediary component. It allows a CPU (central processing unit) and process control device to communicate. The unit decodes and directs the control commands sent from a processor, runs system reports and manages data flow to ensure the PLC continues to run smoothly.
