Allen Bradley PLC Power Supply For Use With MicroLogix 1100 Series, 3V - 1763-BA
Power your MicroLogix 1100 PLC (programmable logic controller) with this lithium battery from Rockwell Automation's Allen Bradley range. A PLC is a simple computer that's used to operate conveyors and automated machinery. This unit is usually used as a backup for when the existing battery in your PLC becomes compromised or runs out. The battery cell connects to the PLC using the two durable plastic wires that lead to a small plug. The plug connects to the dual pins on your PLC for an easy and safe connection.
• Wires are twisted together to keep them firm and provide extra protection• Lithium chemical has high power efficiency and a low self-discharge rate for optimal battery performance• Tough metal container prevents harmful chemical leaks• 3V nominal voltage can power a small PLC device for over two years
Standards and Certifications
• UL (Underwriters' Laboratories)• CE (Conformité Européenne)• ACMA (Australian Communications and Media Authority)• HazLoc (Hazardous Locations)• IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission)
The LCD display of the controller shows the status of the battery with the Battery Low indicator. If it is low the indicator is set and shows as a solid rectangle, which can mean that the battery wire is disconnected or the battery may fail within 2 weeks. The indicator is clear and shows as an empty rectangle when the battery level is acceptable.
