Georg Fischer Plastic Pipe Cement


The Georg Fischer 500g plastic pipe cement is a gap-filling solvent for jointing PVC-U pipe and fittings by creating a chemical bond. The joints made with it remain unaffected by almost all the fluids for which PVC-U pipe is suitable. However, prolonged exposure of the inside joint edge to any of the following acid concentrations can cause some deterioration of the cement bonding.

Note:
A PVC-U cleaning fluid is recommended for the preparation of the joint surface and for cleaning cement residue from brushes
