RS PRO Background Suppression Photoelectric Sensor with Barrel Sensor, 1 → 140 mm Detection Range


Photoelectric sensors like this product from the trusted RS PRO range are used in industrial manufacturing to detect and measure objects. They work by bouncing a beam of light off them. This barrel sensor uses a reliable polarising filter to detect reflective surfaces, a red light to align the target and background blanking to increase accuracy. The detection range of the sensor is 1 mm to 140 mm.

You can mount the sensor using the mounting bracket and it comes complete with a reflector. The corrosion-resistant retroreflective barrel sensor is housed in a nickel-plated brass body.

CE-certified and UL-listed for safety and sustainability, the unit meets standards E348498 and NRKH7 as a safe and effective photoelectric sensor. It's IP67 rated, which means it's water-resistant, and as part of the RS PRO range, it's been stringently tested.
