RS PRO Background Suppression Photoelectric Sensor with Barrel Sensor, 1 → 140 mm Detection Range


This photoelectric sensor from the trusted RS PRO range will distinguish and calibrate objects. It works by using a light beam and polarising filter to detect the reflective surface of the item and then align it. Background blanking technology increases the device's accuracy. This product will detect objects within a 1 mm to 140 mm range. You find this type of equipment mainly used in manufacturing.

Inside the pack, you'll find a reflector and a mounting bracket to help you install it. The retroreflective barrel sensor is housed in a nickel-plated brass body that is corrosion-resistant.

The device is CE-certified and UL-listed, and also meets standards E348498 and NRKH7 as a safe, sustainable and effective photoelectric sensor. In addition, it's IP67 rated, which means it will stay dry even when submerged under a metre of water for a full 30 minutes.
