RS PRO Background Suppression Photoelectric Sensor with Barrel Sensor, 1 → 140 mm Detection Range
Detect the presence, absence or distance of objects using this photoelectric sensor from RS PRO. It uses a light beam with a polarising filter to detect shiny surfaces and a red light to align them accurately. Suitable for damp environments, the retroreflective barrel sensor is contained within a nickel-plated brass body to resist corrosion.
The sensor's accuracy is enhanced by background blanking. You can expect it to detect objects from 1 mm to 140 mm. The pack comes complete with a mounting bracket and reflector.
IP67 rated, it's watertight in up to a metre of water for a full 30 minutes. CE-certified and UL-listed you can be assured that it's safe and environmentally friendly. It meets standards E348498 and NRKH7 as a safe and effective photoelectric sensor. You can find this sensor in industrial manufacturing.
