The Schneider Electric XU series photoelectric proximity sensor is used to dedicate material handling, packaging, labelling, assembly, lift & escalators or food & beverage industries. This series offers many functionalities such as Diffuse mode, Background Suppression (BGS), polarized reflex, laser reflex & through-beam or through-beam. A photoelectric sensor basically comprises a light beam transmitter and a light-sensitive receiver. A light-emitting diode is an electronic semi-conductor component that emits light when an electric current flows through it. This light can be visible or invisible, depending on the transmission wavelength.
