Use this photoelectric sensor from Festo to safely and accurately check the position of items on a conveyor belt. If the sensor detects any absences or misalignments, it triggers an alert. How does a diffuse sensor work?
A diffuse sensor uses objects in the path of its transmitted beam to reflect light back to it. In the normal detecting mode, the sensor shouldn't receive any light back. When it does, it indicates an error state.
